2020 UAV 73rd National Convention - National Zoom Conference
Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic the 2020 UAV National convention was held as an internet event to keep all of our members and supporters safe. Looking forward to seeing everyone next year.

During the week of September 26th, 2024 the UAV Post 101 hosted the 77th Ukrainian American Veterans National Convention at the Ukrainian Cultural Center, in Warren, Michigan. About 150 Veterans, Family Members and Supporters attended the event just outside the Motor City. This celebration was packed full of UAV Meetings, Crafts with the Ladies, Cocktails and the Banquet showcasing traditional Ukrainian entertainment and excellent food. 2025 Christmas Party
On Friday, December 12, 2025 the UAV Post 101 Michigan held it's Annual Christmas Party at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Warren, Mi. We had almost 60 Veterans and Family members attend this event. There was good food and an exciting prize raffle. It was a lot of fun and such a joy to see everyone again to celebrate this Holiday Season. On Tuesday, November 11, 2025 the UAV Post 101 Michigan held a ceremony and brunch. Due to the cold weather the ceremony was held indoors at the Ukrainian Cultural Center. About 40 Post and Family members attended the event. Take a look at the pictures.

UAV 78th National Convention 2025
During the week of October 9th of 2025 the members of UAV Post 101 attended the 78th Ukrainian American Veterans National Convention at the Ukrainian Cultural Center, in Somerset, New Jersey. This year was also the 10th Anniversary celebration of the Ukrainian American Veterans Memorial. About 75 Veterans and Family Members attended the event making it a very happy and successful occasion.
We at UAV Post 101 were honored to attend this event with our fellow Ukrainian American Veterans.
2025 Michigan Senior Olympics
Fellow Veteran, Marion Zarewych, won the gold medal in the 3 categories for the Michigan Senior Olympics in PICKLE BALL. Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. He competed against 284 Players. A Big congratulations goes out to our post member.

Memorial Day 2025
On Monday May 26, 2025 the UAV Post 101 Michigan held the Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the St. Josaphat's Church and at
the Memorial site across the street. This event
was attended by over 50 Veterans, Friends, Supporters and Family Members of UAV Post 101 Michigan. It was a beautiful and warm sunny day. Afterwards a lunch buffet was held
in the banquet hall of the Ukrainian Cultural Center.

2025 Wild Game Dinner
On Saturday February 22nd, 2025 the UAV Post 101 held the annual Wild Game Dinner. The event was a great success hosting about 200 Veterans, Family, Friends and Supporters. Many prizes were raffled off including, hunting and camping gear, along with several firearms. Food donations included venison, bison, duck, pheasant, perch along with a wonderful spread of appetizers.

On Friday, December 6, 2024 the UAV Post 101 Michigan held it's Annual Christmas Party at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Warren, Mi. We had almost 65 Veterans and Family members attend this event. Many prizes were raffled off including, hunting and camping gear, along with several firearms. Food donations included venison, wild boar, duck, pheasant, perch along with a wonderful spread of appetizers.

30th Anniversary of Ukrainian Independence
On August 21, 2021... a huge celebration was held at the St. Josaphat Church Banquet Center in Warren, Michigan
honoring the 30th Anniversary of Ukrainian Independence. Many local Ukrainian Families and Several Members of
UAV Post 101 attended. The Commander of UAV Post 101, Matthew Wroblewski, and George Futiak along with two
members of Plast stood as Color Guard along with several anxious children standing around the stage during the prayers
and talking points that were shared during this monumental celebration.
The current form of the holiday was first celebrated on 16 July 1991, as the first anniversary of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine
UAV National Monument Plaza Construction
In March 2021 the construction of the UAV National Monument Plaza was started and finished within a weeks time.
Here are a few pictures of the progress and completion of the project. Everything looks very impressive.

Ukrainian American Veterans of the US Armed Forces giving a salute at the wall of honor, near St. Michael’s Sobor Cathedral in Kyiv. This mural monument is dedicated to the over four thousand Ukrainian military service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice defending their homeland against the Russian invaders and separatist traitors.
