Christmas Party
On Friday, December 8, 2023 the UAV Post 101 Michigan held it's Annual Christmas Party at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Warren, Mi. We had almost 65 Veterans and Family members attend this event. It was a lot of fun and such a joy to see everyone again to celebrate this Holiday Season. Please take a look at the pictures and enjoy the Spirit of the Season.

Veterans Day 2023
On Saturday, November 11, 2023 the UAV Post 101 Michigan held a ceremony and brunch on the grounds of St. Josaphat's Church in Warren, MI, and at the site of the Ukrainian Cultural Center Veterans Memorial in honor of Veterans Day. It was a beautiful sunny day hosting about 50 Post and Family members attending the event. We had a wonderful observance ceremony and mid-day luncheon. Take a look at the pictures.

72nd Birthday of Matthew Wroblewski... The Commander of UAV Post 101.

76th National Convention
During the week of September 21st the members of UAV Post 101 attended the 76th Ukrainian American Veterans National Convention at Soyuzivka Heritage Center, in Kerhonkson, New York. The southern mountains of New York state was the perfect place to celebrate this wonderful occasion. About 75 Veterans and Family Members attended the event at this beautiful, serene location.
We at UAV Post 101 were honored to attend this event with our fellow Ukrainian American Veterans.

2023 Memorial Day
On Monday May 29, 2023 the UAV Post 101 Michigan held the Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Warren, Michigan. This event was attended by over 45 Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, and Families Members of UAV Michigan Post 101. There was a prayer ceremony on the grounds of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church along with the placing of the commemorative wreath at the UAV Monument . Afterwards a lunch and fundraiser was held in the banquet hall in the Ukrainian Cultural Center.
Thank you to Everyone for attending and Honoring the Memory of all fallen Service Women and Men.

On Saturday February 25th, 2023 the UAV Post 101 held the annual Wild Game Dinner. The event was a great success hosting about 220 Veterans, Family, Friends and Supporters. Watch the movie and experience the fun!

On Saturday February 25th, 2023 the UAV Post 101 held the annual Wild Game Dinner. The event was a great success hosting about 220 Veterans, Family, Friends and Supporters. Many prizes were raffled off including, hunting and camping gear, along with several firearms. Food donations included venison, wild boar, duck, pheasant, perch along with a wonderful spread of appetizers.

On December 9, 2022 the UAV Post 101 Michigan held it's Annual Christmas Party at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Warren, Mi. We had almost 100 Veterans and Family members attend this event. It was a lot of fun and such a joy to see everyone again to celebrate this Holiday Season. The food was delicious and we had many prizes and gifts for the attending crowd. 75th National Convention
During the week of October 13th the members of UAV Post 101 attended the 75th Ukrainian American's National Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As the Diamond Anniversary of the UAV National Organization it was a very special event to all who attended. It was most fitting to hold this event in the best place to honor our allegiance to the first US Nation's Capital as Ukrainians that fought for freedom within the USA. Over 100 Veterans and Family Members attended the event to celebrate our loyalty and respect to this Great Country that has been a bastion of freedom for every generation within the last century.

Wild Game Dinner 2022
On February 26, 2022 the UAV Post 101 Michigan held the 7th Annual Wild Game Dinner at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Warren, Michigan. This event was attended by over 150 Veterans, Hunters, Fishers and Families who contributed Venison, Duck and Fish for the main course dinner. Many hunting prizes were raffled off to raise funds for the organization and to gather donations towards the humanitarian effort for the current war in Ukraine. We thank everyone for their effort and participation in this event. Please take a look at the pictures.

2021 National Convention
In October 2021 Members of the UAV Post 101 traveled to and attended the National Convention held at Quantico Marine Base in Virginia. We drove from Michigan stopping along the way to see a few sights then attending the events and dinner for the UAV Convention. This was a fantastic trip and we really enjoyed seeing everyone again after the affects of the China Virus. We look forward to next years convention. Please look at the pictures from our trip.

30th Anniversary of Ukrainian Independence
On August 21, 2021... a huge celebration was held at the St. Josaphat Church Banquet Center in Warren, Michigan
honoring the 30th Anniversary of Ukrainian Independence. Many local Ukrainian Families and Several Members of
UAV Post 101 attended. The Commander of UAV Post 101, Matthew Wroblewski, and George Futiak along with two
members of Plast stood as Color Guard along with several anxious children standing around the stage during the prayers
and talking points that were shared during this monumental celebration.
The current form of the holiday was first celebrated on 16 July 1991, as the first anniversary of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine
UAV National Monument Plaza Construction
In March 2021 the construction of the UAV National Monument Plaza was started and finished within a weeks time.
Here are a few pictures of the progress and completion of the project. Everything looks very impressive.

Ukrainian American Veterans of the US Armed Forces giving a salute at the wall of honor, near St. Michael’s Sobor Cathedral in Kyiv. This mural monument is dedicated to the over four thousand Ukrainian military service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice defending their homeland against the Russian invaders and separatist traitors.
